I was Inspired

I saw this post at...lhttp://pollyanna-reinvents.blogspot.com/2012/12/family-photo-gallary-garland.html
I had some ideas kind of like this banner but wasn't sure how I wanted to do it and I wanted it to be permanent. After seeing Paula's post I got excited and busy. It took me three days to put it all together and ...Here it is.....

My Unusual Wreath.

I was making Paper wreaths to sell at a local craft show. I made this one but only had the gold Poinsettia leaves on it. It didn't sell. I went shopping at Hobby Lobby and ran across these Leopard print ones so I grabbed them and inserted them after I got home. It needed more of something. At Wal-Mart I spotted  some brown bulbs, so I tried these and YEAH!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!
Here are a couple of other wreaths I made and did manage to sell  the pink and green one.

That's Life

Life can sure get in the way. I decided to go to Nail Tech school so I can learn how to do nails properly and to get my products at a discount. I enrolled at a school 20 min. away and I enjoyed it, for the most part. I'm not a fan of science or math and I even ditched those classes in high school. Now I HAD to learn it. I even had a panic attack and a few melt downs over these classes, but my teacher was VERY patient with me and I got thru the testing very well. I even came out scoring higher than the young girls there. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. Now I just have to get the money together to take the State tests. AGH!!!
I also signed up to do a craft show at a GREAT place called Fallow Field Farms. I did it last year and did great, so I got busy and made LOT'S of jewelry. I make quirky jewelry but I LOVE it.
I sat by a GREAT and WONDERFUL lady, Paula who posted about the show and took better pics than I did, so here is the link to her blog about it all... http://pollyanna-reinvents.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-fabulous-fun-hobby-farm-tour.html.
This is the banner I had made for the tent i was to use, but that didn't happen so I strung it along the fence behind me.
I did twice as good as I did last year and told Marci, The doll that runs it, to sign me up for next year!

I LOVE displaying stuff on my old door. Now I need to get ready for the next show in December in Sandy Utah!Thanx for taking the time to read this and may God's choicest blessings  be with you!

A Little Protection

 Shared

I'm posting the pictures of our neighbors fence and our shared fence in case of future problems. Over the weekend the neighbors goat and dog got out of their back yard. I saw the dog and twice we put it in their back yard because I knew they were gone on vacation. I didn't know the husband was home tho. The goat I didn't see. I have four dogs. Three males and one female. One of my males had followed their dog and I guess the husband saw him mating with their female. I try to keep a close eye on my dogs when they are out, and I did see my dog go after their female. I went looking for him but could not find him. I was even looking in their back yard and calling him, but I didn't see him. I fixed their fence back from where the goat got out and now I'm seeing her complaining about my dog on Facebook saying my dogs have dug holes under the fence and are always over there. So I took pictures showing how easy for any animal to get in our out of their yard. Yes there was a hole under one spot in the middle of our shared fence and I have covered it up and another spot where my dogs used to get into their back yard before they moved in, and we fixed it and they don't go that way anymore. I feel bad their dog may get pregnant by my dog, but it is hard when their dog gets out. Obviously the hole under the fence hasn't even been used for awhile, either way . Thanx for letting me rant!

Toe Painting

I have a friend who does glitter toes and we decided we needed some Easter-y toes so she glittered mine and I painted hers.  It helps if her toe nail wasn't broken off so low.  I do this out of my home, just the regular polishing and painting, where as she comes to you and uses UV lights.
